Ahi Tuna

We're talkin' 'bout our seared ahi tuna – a fancy feast that's surprisingly easy to wrangle right at home.   • 1.00 - 1.25 lb. Tuna Steak
  • 3 Tbs. Vegetable Oil
  • Scallion and Toasted Sesame Seeds, for garnish


  1. Combine marinade ingredients and marinate tuna for at least 3 hours in a Ziploc bag (overnight is best for marinating)
  2. Heat up skillet for 2-3 minutes with 3 Tbs. Vegetable Oil
  3. Place tuna steaks in hot skillet and sear (1 minute on each side for rare, 1.5-2 minutes on each side for medium rare)
  4. Remove from skillet and slice
  5. Sprinkle chopped scallion and toasted sesame seeds over sliced Ahi Tuna
  6. Enjoy!
