INGREDIENTS:
Meat
  • 1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
  • ½ cup oatmeal
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 5 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cube beef bouillon
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Runnin Wild Burger Seasoning

Gravy

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet seasoning sauce
  • 5 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • Runnin Wild Peppered Sea Salt, to taste

PROCEDURE:

  1. For the meat: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, oatmeal, ketchup, dry mustard, Worcestershire, bouillon, and the Runnin Wild Burger Seasoning. Mix well. Form into 4 to 6 patties.
  2. Melt butter and oil over medium-high heat in a skillet. Fry the patties on both sides until no longer pink in the middle. Remove from the skillet and pour off any excess grease.
  3. For the gravy: Slice the onions and add them to the same skillet used to cook the meat. Stir and cook the onions over medium heat for several minutes, until golden brown and soft. Add the beef stock, ketchup, seasoning sauce, and Worcestershire. Then mix the cornstarch with a little beef broth in a separate bowl, and then add the cornstarch sauce to the skillet. Stir and cook to reduce.
  4. Add more broth if needed for thinning. Season sauce with Runnin Wild Peppered Sea Salt to taste. Return the beef patties to the gravy. Spoon the gravy over the top and let simmer and heat back up for a few minutes. Serve and enjoy!
