Pig Candy (Candied Bacon)

Pig Candy
Our Maple Sugar Bourbon Pig Candy is sweet and salty, with a kick coming from the bourbon. Crispy, thick-cut maple sugar bourbon caramelized bacon is a perfect pairing for brunch, appetizer, or on its own as a snack!
INGREDIENTS:

PROCEDURE:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet tray with parchment paper.
  2. Lay thick-cut bacon slices onto the tray until the sheet pan is full. Dust both sides of bacon with the Maple Sugar Bourbon Rub. 
  3. Bake for 30 minutes (or until brown and crispy, up to 40 minutes). 
  4. Once done baking, remove the sheet pan from the oven and let it cool for 10-15 minutes. 
  5. Serve and enjoy!
