Pig Candy (Candied Bacon)

Our Maple Sugar Bourbon Pig Candy is sweet and salty, with a kick coming from the bourbon. Crispy, thick-cut maple sugar bourbon caramelized bacon is a perfect pairing for brunch, appetizer, or on its own as a snack!
INGREDIENTS:
- Thick-cut bacon
- Maple Sugar Bourbon Rub
PROCEDURE:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet tray with parchment paper.
- Lay thick-cut bacon slices onto the tray until the sheet pan is full. Dust both sides of bacon with the Maple Sugar Bourbon Rub.
- Bake for 30 minutes (or until brown and crispy, up to 40 minutes).
- Once done baking, remove the sheet pan from the oven and let it cool for 10-15 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
