INGREDIENTS
For the Nachos:
- 1 Pound Ground Beef
- 2 tablespoons Runnin Wild Taco Seasoning
- 1 (13-ounce) bag thin tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheese (We used mozzarella)
- 1/4 cup jalapenos, pickled
For the Toppings:
- 10 ounces queso, warmed
- 8 ounces shredded lettuce
- 1 large tomato, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
- 1 avocado, diced,
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook for about 5 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain any excess fat, then stir in the taco seasoning and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the meat is browned.
- On a rimmed baking sheet, spread a layer of tortilla chips and top them with the ground beef, cheese, and jalapeños. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges of the tortilla chips are golden brown.
- Take it out of the oven and drizzle with the queso, then top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, onion, black olives, avocado, sour cream, and cilantro. Serve warm and dig in!
